| Multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) utilizes major advancements in technology to establish secure private communication channels, for the transfer of data, over shared networks, such as private intranets or the public internet. Multiprotocol label switching provides any-to-any connectivity over T1 or higher bandwidth. (For more about multiprotocol label switching, please click here) | ||||||||||

Are we meeting our goal of becoming the number 1 place to shop for T1 lines in the world?See what our customers have to say about their experience with us: "Selecting a provider was simple because the work was already done for us. We're saving more than we thought we could thanks to multiprotocol-label-switching.com." Todd Leishman "We found multiprotocol-label-switching.com via a Web Search in Google while shopping for reliable/competitive T-1 lines. Adam Edwards, a multiprotocol-label-switching.com consultant, asked me questions without selling anything and then delivered an array of options with pros and cons for each. I've dealt with many types of vendors as a "decision maker" for multiple companies and multiprotocol-label-switching.com is a model for success. Needless to say we are in the process of converting all of our data lines throughout the country with the help of multiprotocol-label-switching.com." Todd Kawai "multiprotocol-label-switching.com provided us with multiple options allowing us to compare quotes and select the best service for our needs. We were also pleased with the post-sales support multiprotocol-label-switching.com gave us when we needed help getting our rebates and coordinating our provisioning." Joju Sebastian "The nature of our business demands a reliable T1 service. multiprotocol-label-switching.com helped us find aTier 1 service provider and negotiated a lower price than the vendor would have given to us if we went direct. Sunder Isaac "We found multiprotocol-label-switching.com to be a very convenient and cost effective way to find new Voice and Data Service. Within 1-2 seconds there were quotes from 5-6 different providers. The multiprotocol-label-switching.com folks were very helpful in explaining the pros and cons of the different services they were representing." Tony Calisi |

Written by: Dennis Green - Oct 11, 2008 In the context of telecommunications, the terms T3 and DS3 are often used synonymously to describe a 45 mbps (megabits per second) circuit. A T3/DS3 is the equivalent of 28 T1s. People who are more technically inclined will often refer to DS3 when they are talking about the configuration of the circuit, and T3 if they are referring to the physical connection which carries the circuit. Most people, however, use both terms interchangeably. T3/DS3 is used for carrying both voice (in the form of data) and data traffic. T3/DS3 is commonly used for larger point-to-point circuits, MPLS (multiprotocol label switching), Virtual Private Networks (VPN), internet traffic, call centers, and videoconferencing. To check availability or pricing for any T3 related services, please use the pricing tool located at the top of this page. It is easy to use, free, and without obligation.
